SINIAT Mastablock Setting Compound (Pink) is a plaster-based back-blocking cement designed for reinforcing ceiling joints in accordance with AS 2589.1. Back-blocking strengthens plasterboard joints, reducing deformation and the risk of cracking caused by building movement.
With a 3-hour working time and 4-hour set time, Mastablock allows ample time to complete ceiling back-blocking using a single gauge. Ideal for skillion roofs, it enables progressive back-blocking from below the board. Mastablock mixes easily by hand or electric mixer to a smooth consistency, delivering a strong, reliable bond between the back-block and plasterboard lining.
